While the WTA and ATP tours were busy in Indian Wells and Miami, the UTR Pro Tennis Tour, or PTT, had events taking place in Japan, the United Arab Emirates, Croatia, the Czech Republic, and the United States.
Here’s a look at some of the champions.
Horvit Adds Title No. 6
Over in Boca Raton, Fla., another repeat winner found her way to the title. Mia Horvit, a former standout at the University of South Carolina, picked up her sixth PTT title and first since December 2022.
“I'm guaranteed matchplay and money, so it's a win-win on that end. Also you're prepping for other tournaments and you have so much matchplay, and you're dealing with different pressures,” Horvit told UTR Sports. “There's so many different benefits from it that are helpful.”

Familiar Faces Win in Dubai
In Dubai, Dmitry Vlasov won the first PTT $25K men’s event held during the week of March 4 and Ilya Snitari won the second one, a few weeks later. The win marked Vlasov’s first on the PTT but Snitari is well-acquainted with the winner’s check.
The 22-year-old Moldovan has won five PTT titles, including one of the first ever to be held in Dubai back in January 2022.
Pankin Thrives in California
In Long Beach, Calif., the El Dorado Park Tennis Center hosted a men’s $25K during the week of March 4-10. Semen Pankin, a 24-year-old former collegiate player at the University of Portland snagged his fourth title. He dropped just one set in six matches.
Long Beach is one of the newest PTT host sites, having just started holding UTR pro tournaments in November.
Prihodko Emerges Victorious in Europe
In the Czech Republic, 26-year-old Oleg Prihodko won the PTT $25K during the week of May 18-24. Like Vlasov and Horvit, he’s a multiple-time PTT champion with the great week in the Czech marking his fourth title overall.
