Little Mo Internationals Set to Start in June

Young players all over the world are gearing up for one of the most prestigious series of tournaments in the world, the Little Mo. Held at top-tier tennis facilities, Little Mo events offer competitors valuable experience and exposure to high-level competition.

Maureen Connolly Brinker, known as “Little Mo” and Nancy Jeffett cofounded the Maureen Connolly Brinker Tennis Foundation (MCB) in 1968 with the mission of furthering junior tennis development around the globe. Since then, MCB has promoted the development of junior tennis with tournament opportunities for young players.

Throughout its history, Little Mo has served as a launching pad for many future tennis stars, and past champions include Coco Gauff, Madison Keys, Sebastian Korda, Leylah Fernandez, Taylor Fritz, and Tommy Paul.;

Little Mo is hosting its Internationals tournaments starting in June, which accepts players from all countries from ages 8-12. These prestigious tournaments will take place June 28 - July 3 in Colorado Springs, CO, August 17-21 in West Orange, NJ, and Dec. 6-11 in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Big Mo divisions have been added in Colorado and Florida for players ages 13-16.

Little Mo emphasizes the fun of the sport, with event activities including an opening ceremony, player parade of nations, player clinic, player party, group photo, Mo coins for prizes, and the Little Mo/Big Mo booth.

There’s an added incentive for those hoping to accomplish the biggest Little Mo feat. If a player wins their yellow ball division at all three Little Mo Internationals in the same year, they get the tallest trophy in junior tennis, which stands at an impressive 6 feet tall. In the past 11 years, 11 players have taken home the giant trophy.
